Grup Șerban Holding, a major Romanian agribusiness group, announced a restructuring process affecting 81 employees in March 2026. The layoffs include 26 people from Interagroaliment SRL, 33 from Șerban Distribuție SRL, and 22 from Fabrica de Pâine Șerban SRL. The decision follows the company's choice to cease its grain trading business line and optimize costs in other segments due to unfavorable market conditions: high agricultural input prices and stagnant or declining grain prices.
